Contracts generally follow
the ICE Conditions of Contract for Minor Works under competitive
tender, or are negotiated project specific contracts. All
contracts and specifications are written to protect 2iC's
clients and to secure the smooth running of the project. Unambiguous
terms of payment and contract conditions provide the contractor
with the confidence required to commit the proper resources
to the client.
2iC draw up a detailed Bill
of Quantities for all projects under the terms of the contract.
This ensures that variation orders are adhered to and that
the client does not pay for work which is not installed or
not ordered.
When the irrigation project
is part of a larger contract, 2iC works closely with the client
and architect as part of the management team to ensure that
the overall project runs smoothly. 2iC's dedication to the
golfing industry, and their specialist agronomic, landscaping
and botanical knowledge ensures that a clients needs are understood
and anticipated.
Any designs that 2iC
are involved in are marked out by us exactly on site (routes
of pipes/positions of sprinklers etc.) so the contractor can
have no doubt - or recourse.
